Have you had your website scanned by an Approved Scanning Vendor?

WEB SITES  MUST BE SCANNED!

Many merchants trusted the design of their sites to Vendors who were not familiar with the need to insure a site is safe. These vendors may have designed sites that transmit card numbers without encryption, that save card numbers or worse, save the security codes.  To prevent hacking and the substantial fines Card Associations may levy, merchants need to contract with a Certified Security Provider to have the site scanned.

If your site is ‘information only’ you still may wish to have it checked to insure it’s not linked to another system or computer that does have sensitive data.

REMEMBER: Your web site may feed into a shopping cart or gateway that is completely safe. But the site itself may have been designed to improperly store data.  You’re required to get your site scanned by an approved scanning vendor; choose from:
